2003 Men's Cross-Country Awards
The 2003 UCAA End-of-Season Awards, announced December 2.

2003 UCAA Runner of the Year
Jon French   St. Lawrence
Sophomore (Gouverneur, New York)
French was the top UCAA runner at both the NYSCTC championships and the NCAA regional qualifier this season. He was sixth overall at the state meet and eighth overall at the regionals earning the lone spot for UCAA men's competitors at the NCAA championships. French was the top runner for St. Lawrence, finishing second overall, at the conference championship meet as the Saints cruised to the team championship with just 20 points.

2003 UCAA Rookie of the Year
Blake Davis   St. Lawrence
(Falmouth, Maine)
Davis was second among all first-year runners and first among UCAA rookies at both the NYSCTC championships and the NCAA regional qualifier. He was sixth overall and the second rookie at the UCAA conference championship meet, trailing only teammate and classmate John Gaudette.

2003 UCAA Coach of the Year
John Newman   St. Lawrence
Newman remained undefeated in UCAA championship competition as the Saints coasted to the conference title with just 20 points. The Saints finished second in the NYSCTC championship meet and fourth in the NCAA regional qualifier this season.
