2005 Liberty League Rookie of the Year
Dan McElvaine St. Lawrence
(Harrare, Zimbabwe)
Dan McElvaine went 14-6 as the Saints number one, the best record for a Saint
men's player in the brief history of the sport. He was 6-0 against Liberty
League competition in team dual match play including 4-0 in the Liberty League
Tournament. Went 2-2 at CSA Individual Nationals. He was a two-time selection
as Liberty League Player of the Week and a three-time selection as League
Rookie of the Week.
2005 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year
Carol Weymuller Hobart
Weymuller led the Statesmen to their second consecutive Liberty League crown
and a perfect 6-0 mark against conference opponents. Under her guidance, Hobart
posted a 14-9 record, just one win shy of the program-record 15, and a
fourth-place finish at the Hoehn Trophy.
