2004 Liberty League Rookie of the Year
Sarah Coleman Hamilton
Freshman (Bronxville, New York)
Sarah Coleman won all 19 of her first flight singles matches, never losing a
set along the way. Coleman won the ITA Northeast Regional singles title and
helped Hamilton to fourth place at the state championships by becoming the
first Continental to win the first flight singles championship. She also paired
with Kaitie Donovan to go 13-7 at first flight doubles.
2004 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year
Jamie King Hamilton
Jamie King and assistant Lucia Aniello guided Hamilton to 9-1 dual match record
and its first-ever appearance in the finals of the Liberty League
championships. The Continentals also finished fourth out of 16 teams at the
state championships.
