2006 Men's Football Awards
The 2006 Liberty League End-of-Season Awards, announced November 14.

2006 Liberty League Offensive Player of the Year
Tom Arcidiacono   Union
Senior  Running Back  (Castleton, New York)
A repeat selection as Offensive Player of the Year, Arcidiacano is the Liberty League leader in rushing, all purpose yards, and scoring. A five-time selection as Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week, he rushed for 100 yards or more in every game this season and currently ranks 15th in all-time NCAA Division III rushing yardage.

2006 Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year
Matt Boudreau   WPI
Sophomore  Linebacker  (Rensselaer, New York)
Boudreau was the leading tackler in the Liberty League, collecting 94 total tackles including 62 solo stops. Entering the final week of the season he ranked fifth in solo tackles and 24th in total tackles among all NCAA Division III players.

2006 Liberty League Special Teams Player of the Year
Adam LoGiudice   Rensselaer
Senior  Return Specialist  (Massapequa, New York)
A three-time selection as Liberty League Special Teams Performer of the Week, LoGiudice was first in the league in kickoff returns (26), punt returns (26), kickoff return average (26.6) and kickoff return touchdowns (2). His marks set Rensselaer single season records for kickoff returns, kickoff return yards and punt return yards.

2006 Liberty League Rookie of the Year
Grant Wright   Merchant Marine
Wide Receiver  (Fort Lauderdale, Florida)
A three-time selection as Liberty League Rookie of the Week, Wright ranked second among all Mariner players with 434 receiving yards on 35 catches and three touchdowns. He averaged 12.3 yards per catch and ranked 10th the league in receiving yards per game.

2006 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year
John Audino   Union
Audino guided the Dutchmen to a share of the Liberty League title and their second straight automatic bid to the NCAA championships. Union has won 18 of its last 20 regular season games. Audino is assisted by Gary Reynolds, Peter Brown, Erv Chambliss, Larry Cottrell, Alan Fiore, Dan Iozzia, John Knapp, Jon Kralovic, Chris Nappi, T.R. Perna, and Daryl Steverson.
