The 2006 Liberty League End-of-Season Awards, announced November 28.
2006 Liberty League Runner of the Year
Laura Clarke St. Lawrence
Senior (Ottawa, Ontario)
The 2006 Liberty League champion, Laura Clarke had three top-three finishes as a senior,
was 13th in the NYSCTC championship and 32nd in the NCAA Regional. Also the 2004 Liberty
League Rookie of the Year, Clarke is the fourth consecutive Saint to capture
Runner of the Year honors.
2006 Liberty League Rookie of the Year
Johannah Ludington St. Lawrence
(Morrisville, Vermont)
A six-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week award winner, Ludington was the third place
finisher and top rookie in the league meet among three top ten finishes in six races.
She was 18th in the NYSCTC Championship and the top Saint finisher with a 29th at the NCAA Regional
2006 Liberty League Coach of the Year
Deb Lyndaker St. Lawrence
Deb Lyndaker guided St. Lawrence to its fifth straight league championship,
a fourth in the NYSCTC Championship and top three finishes in four of five in-season meets.
The Saints were best placed among Liberty League teams at both the NYSCTC Championship and
the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship.
