2007 Liberty League Outdoor Track Performer of the Year
Jen Dias Rensselaer
Senior (Taunton, Massachusetts)
A six-time Liberty League Track Performer of the Week in the outdoor season, Dias earned All-America status
with a third-place finish in the 400 hurdles at the NCAA championships. Her school record time of 60.24 in the
final bettered any time in Division III prior to the championship race. She also seet meet records in the 400 hurdles
at both the Liberty League championships and the NYSCTC championships. Her efforts in the Liberty League championship
meet included three first place finishes and two second place finishes that helped Rensselaer claim the women's title.
Dias is also a Liberty League All-Academic selection.
2007 Liberty League Outdoor Field Performer of the Year
Felicia Tsai Rensselaer
Senior (Olney, Maryland)
Tsai was named All-America in the hammer throw following a fifth-place finish at the NCAA championships. She was the
hammer throw champion in the Liberty League, NYSCTC, and ECAC Division III championship meets. Tsai was named the NYSCTC
Field Performer of the Meet after adding a victory in the discus to her hammer throw title. A six-time selection as
Liberty League Field Performer of the Week in the outdoor season, Tsai is also a legaue All-Academic selection.
2007 Liberty League Outdoor Rookie of the Year
Alyssa Pirinelli St. Lawrence
(North Tonawanda, New York)
Pirinelli swept the Liberty League and NYSCTC shot put titles this year, claiming victory in both the outdoor and indoor
meets in each case. She qualified for the NCAA championships in the shot where she finished 12th. Pirinelli was a
five-time selection as Liberty League Rookie of the Week in the Outdoor Season.
2007 Liberty League Outdoor Coaching Staff of the Year
Mike Howard St. Lawrence
Mike Howard guided the St. Lawrence women's track and field team to a second place finish in the Liberty League
championships and a fourth place finish in both the NYSCTC Championships and ECAC Division III Championhsips this
season. The Saints had two participants at the NCAA Championships with senior Laura Clarke in the steeplechase
and first-year Alyssa Pirinelli in the shot put. Howard is assisted by John Newman, Deb Lyndaker, Matt Kuenzel,
Erin Woodward, Korin DeAceti, and Bill Lewis.

2007 Liberty League Indoor Track Performer of the Year
Katie Thompson St. Lawrence
Senior (Minnetonka, Minnesota)
Thompson was the Liberty League champion in the 5000 meter run, clocking an 18:33.37 in
the league meet at Hamilton. She improved to an 18:18.15 in the NYSCTC championships to earn
the state title. Her sixth place finish in the same event helped the Saints earn title in the
ECAC Championships.
2007 Liberty League Indoor Co-Field Performer of the Year
Akilah Bond Hamilton
Sophomore (Amherst, Massachusetts)
Bond became Hamilton's first indoor All-American since 2001 with a seventh-place finish in the triple
jump at the NCAA championships. She was the Liberty League champion in the triple jump and added a
third-place finish in the long jump. A five-time selection as Liberty League Field Performer of the
Week, she set Hamilton records in both the triple jump (11.51m) and long jump (5.22m) this season.

Alyssa Pirinelli St. Lawrence
(North Tonawanda, New York)
Pirinelli was named All-America after a third-place finish in the shot put in the NCAA Championships
with a school record mark of 14.07 meters. She broke the previous St. Lawrence record in the event
with her first collegiate throw in December, and improved the mark several times en route to the shot put
championships of the Liberty League, the NYSCTC and the ECAC. She was a four-time selection as Liberty League
Field Performer of the Week and a three-time selection as Liberty League Rookie of the Week this season.

Korin DeAcetis, and Bill Lewis.
