The 2009 Liberty League End-of-Season Awards, announced May 7.

2009 Liberty League Player of the Year
Patrick Reardon  Rensselaer
Junior Catcher (Troy, New York)
Reardon leads the Liberty League in runs, doubles, home runs, total bases, on-base percentage and slugging percentage, and is second in hits, RBI, batting average and walks. He had at least one hit in 35 games, and two or more hits in 18 games. He was a two-time selection as Liberty League Performer of the Week.

2009 Liberty League Pitcher of the Year
Andrew Mondo  Rensselaer
Junior (Clifton Park, New York)
Mondo tied the Rensselaer record for wins in a season with 10 straight victories. He leads the Liberty League in ERA, strikeouts, wins, innings pitched and starts, and is second in shutouts and opposition batting average. He was also named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team and was selected as Picther of the Week on April 6.

2009 Liberty League Rookie of the Year
Brian Lowry   Skidmore
Outfield (West Hartford, Connecticut)
Lowry tied a Skidmore record with a 22-game hit streak, and is 10th in the league in hitting and fifth in stolen bases. He had 13 multiple hit games and 10 multiple RBI games. He was named Liberty League Rookie of the Week on March 16.

2009 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year
Joe Reina   Rochester
Reina led the Yellowjackets to a single-season record for victories at with a 30-11 overall record heading into the Liberty League tournament. Rochester finished second in the league standings with a 17-7 mark in conference play. Reina is assisted by Drew Coble, Joe Lanning, and Ed Kahovec.
