The 2007 Liberty League End-of-Season Awards, announced November 29.
2007 Liberty League Runner of the Year
Elizabeth Ludovici St. Lawrence
Graduate (Lyons Falls, New York)
Ludovici finished her final season at St. Lawrence having won the 2007 Liberty League Individual Championships
with a time of 22:48 and earning a bid to the NCAA Championships with a ninth place finish at the Atlantic Regional.
The Lyons Falls, NY native also had four top-five finishes this season, including a 2nd place finish in the NYSCTC Championships.
A six-time selection this year as Liberty League Runner of the Week, Ludovici was also the Liberty League Rookie of the Year in 2003
and Runner of the Year in 2005.
2007 Liberty League Rookie of the Year
Wendy Pavlus St. Lawrence
(Tupper Lake, New York)
An eight-time selection as Liberty League Rookie of the Week, Pavlus logged six top-ten finishes this fall, including a 2nd place finish
in the Liberty League Championships. She also finished fourth in the NYSCTC championships and seventh at the NCAA Atlantic Regional, earning
an individual bid to the NCAA Championships where she finished in 50th place with a time of 22:30.
2007 Liberty League Coach of the Year
Deb Lyndaker St. Lawrence
Deb Lyndaker guided St. Lawrence to its sixth straight league championship and
fourth in the NYSCTC Championships. The Saints roster included the league's Runner of the Year for the fifth consecutive time and the Rookie of the
Year for the fourth time in five seasons.
