The 2009 Liberty League End-of-Season Awards, announced April 30.

2009 Liberty League Player of the Year
Kristin Joyce   Union
Sophomore Attack (Longmeadow, Massachusettes)
A two-time Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week, Joyce leads the Liberty League in goals (53) and points (71). She also ranks third in draw controls and game-winning goals and sixth in assists. She scored at least two goals in 14 of Union's 15 games this season, helping the Dutchwomen to a perfect 8-0 record in Liberty League play.

2009 Liberty League Rookie of the Year

Midfield (Short Hills, New Jersey)
Johnson leads the Herons in assists (13) and shares the team lead in points (50). She ranks second on the team in goals (37), game-winning goals (3), ground balls (35), and draws (26). Johnson ranks eighth in the Liberty League in points per game (3.57) and assists per game (0.93), and ninth in goals per game (2.64). She has registered at least two points in 12 of 14 contests, and was tabbed the league's Rookie of the Week four times this season.

2009 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year
Jessica Critchlow   Union
Critchlow guided Union to an undefeated league season (8-0) and a 13-2 overall record entering the Liberty League Championships. Union has wins over four ranked teams during the season, including defending league and NCAA champion Hamilton College, and ranks #6 in the April 28 IWLCA national poll. Critchlow is assisted by Lacey French.
