Liberty League Performers of the Week - Monday, May 5

Liberty League Boat of the Week Novice 8    Hobart Hobart won the gold medal at the New York State Rowing Championships over the weekend. They won their Saturday heat to earn a spot in the grand final and notched an open-water victory in the finale. The Statesmen were nearly 10 seconds ahead of second place Army on Sunday, posting a winning time of 6 minutes, 13.3 seconds. The novice eight is powered by first-years Reynaldo Kelly, Max Swagler, David Roberts, Pierce Hewes, Gerry Samson, Jack Trimble, Evan White, James Hollyday, and Bob Taylor.
