Liberty League Performers of the Week - Monday, May 12

Liberty League Co-Boat of the Week Varsity Eight    St. Lawrence St. Lawrence's Women's Varsity Eight finished fifth out of a 21-crew field over the weekend at the ECAC National Invitational Collegiate Regatta in Worcester, MA. The No. 6 Saints' crew was the only Liberty League boat to earn a lane in the grand final.

Liberty League Co-Boat of the Week Novice 8    William Smith The William Smith novice eight won the petite final of the National Invitational Collegiate Regatta on Sunday. In the morning heats, Alicia Supernault, Kate Roth, Alexandra Meberg, Rebecca Charlton, Kara Miller, Mariel Sabraw, Allison Paravati, Lucy Paschos, and Emily Cronin powered the Herons over the 2-kilometer course in 7 minutes, 23.792 seconds. The fourth place showing trailed Ithaca, Wellesley, and Holy Cross and sent William Smith to the petite final. In the afternoon race, the Herons enjoyed an open-water victory, crossing the line in 7:51.334, nearly six seconds ahead of second place Coast Guard.
