Cale Giroux   Clarkson
Junior Outfielder (Cortland, NY)
Giroux played in three of the four games this weekend and went 5-for-7 for a .714 batting average, scoring once and driving in two runs. He also was errorless in four chances in the field.

Shawn Johnston   Union
Junior OF (Hamilton, NJ)
Johnston Batted .500 (7-for-14) with four doubles and drove in six runs in three wins for the Dutchmen, including a doubleheader sweep of Vassar Saturday... Drove in three runs with a pair of doubles in Union's first win over Hamilton in five years on Thursday... Plated three on five hits with two doubles and scored a run in the sweep over Vassar.

Joe Zongol   Rensselaer
Senior (Flower Mound, TX)
Starting one game last week, Joe pitched a 7.0 inning complete game, leading the Red Hawks to a 3-1 victory over Skidmore. He allowed just one run on six hits and one walk for a 1.29 earned run average. He also picked up eight strikeouts, while holding opponents to a .222 batting average.

Troy Lassial   St. Lawrence
Senior (Ogdensburg, NY)
Lassial threw a three-hitter for a crucial 3-1 win over Clarkson which helped the Saints gain the third seed for the Liberty League tournament. He walked two and struck out seven for his fourth win of the year.
Liberty League Rookie of the Week
Jake Groszewski   Clarkson
Pitcher (Rochester, NY)
Groszewski came on in relief to earn his first collegiate win on Saturday over St. Lawrence, pitching three and a third scoreless innings, giving up just two hits while striking out one.
